Elisabeth is a photographer heavily influenced by her surroundings, specifically the North of England. She focuses mainly on the relationship between photography and the North, historically and currently. One of the defining influences for her work was the discovery of 'Preston is My Paris' which sparked the idea of analysing the areas she grew up in with a fresh set of eyes, and trying to see what an outsider would make of the landscape without any of the attaching memories that are associated with childhood.
